It is good to see she is still in such good condition.

We are lucky that at least this ship survived the financial axe that was taken to the RN's ships after WWII. (Such a shame that one of the KGV's wasn't preserved in the same way...) The volunteers who work on board must be commended for the great work they do in presenting her in such a fine manner.
It sure was a highlight of my trip to the UK, and I even managed to drag my long suffering wife onboard!
If you ever get the chance to go to London, it's well worth a visit.

Hi Russel,
Many thanks for the pics. I feel guilty that I haven't been for a visit yet, not living that far away. I did set off one day but got diverted by the good wife and some appalling weather.
Cheers
Al

I visited a couple of years back and was surprised that the wife to enjoyed it she even kept holding back asking some questions and really did look interested which gave me a bit of a fright
But it is such a shame that more ships like Belfast and others can not be preserved for the younger generations to understand the hard times that some people had to go through to make the place they live in what it is. And to think I,am only 47 what a grumpy old bugger I,am turning out to be already
