Out of curiosity I was wondering if any modelers actually bend the individual steps on 1/700 stairways. I do so on 1/350 because it shows if you don't. But on 1/700 the steps are barely discernable and I'm afraid I will crush or deform beyond all recognition the stairway.

I have an upcoming 1/700 build and was going to try to bend them.
My thought was glue the stairs in place, then use a pin or blade tip to bend the stairs themselves down.

I put the stairs on a German Z class destroyer. Half the stairs are tucked away between decks and are barely visible. The other stairs, as I thought, are so tiny that it is almost impossible to tell whether or not the steps have been bent. You would really need excellent eyes, or a magnifying glass, to tell.
