Guy's as you may have seen, I recently picked up the Micro-Mir 1/35 'Neger' and 'Hai' one man mini subs. Now these don't look bad kits and with a little work should be quite descent the main area where they fall down is paint scheme.

Both kits do have schemes but colours are just called out by name with no paint manufactures listings so my question is what shade of grey should the grey sub be?

A medium gray "Mittelgrau" as a base coat would be a good choice.

Thanks Joe, I may make a start on one of these end of next week while at a show so will look for some paint then.
