Fine Bruce, you're number 1, ok, "whoo hoo".

Shall we make this the official thread or continue using
the earlier one (at least until the actual start date)?

Hello Michael,
It is up to all of you. I can lock either one of them. I think that the earlier one should stay open and this one used to announced entry in the campaign. I usually lock the old thread when I let everyone know a Campaign is approved.
Again, it is up to you all just let me know which one to lock,
Cheers,
Bruce

Bruce,
That's cool, we'll do it the way you usually do. Just let me post something on the old thread telling everyone. Thanks!

Wow, good response so far! We have 12 enlistees to date. We are (with TENTATIVE build plans):
AlanL PT103 or Vosper
Ant88
Fordboy S-Boot
Grauwolf
Greyghost666
IronOwl S-Boot S-100 type
MichaelSatin Italeri 1/35 PT109
Rock1947a
Selvatico Italeri 1/35 PT109
Vdejarnette Trumpeter 1/350 S-Boot S-100 type
Weebles Italeri 1/35 Elco
wolfsangel
As always, these are tentative. Feel free to change, add, or not even try to commit to what you want to build. I just kind of like to keep track and let everyone know where we're at.
At any rate, looking good so far. Should be a great campaign!
Michael

I am in, not sure on the subject yet, have got some WEM 1/350th Dog boats in the loft, also tempted by some of the coastal craft 1/72nd stuff coming out.
Great looking campaign, should be some cracking builds.

Alan,
Those do look very interesting! But I'm a bit confused. Does the first set listed (BPN35001 the Premium Edition) contain all the individual sets listed below it? Never used Griffon before so I'm not sure about their system.

Hi Michael,
Yes, it looks like the Premium set contains everything for an early style boat and if you're building a later one then you can buy as needs be, at least that's how it reads to me.
Haven't order up yet but intend to do so. Pity they didn't include the forward mounted twin Lewis Guns and stands I've seen on some early versions.
Don't know how easy it will be to work with, soldering skills would be useful but not something I possess. Awaiting to see the price listing.
I will also be interested to see what Crew Italeri come up with, haven't seen a preview of those yet.
Cheers

Al,
Thanks! I don't see that you can order yet, is it already available? I don't see a price either. I've always used cyano glue and Gator Glue to put together photo-etch when I use it, I don't solder either. This may be more than I need or want. Any word of Eduard doing some sets?
Michael

Hi everyone! Not much action here lately so I thought I'd give us a bump by posting a possible ribbon for the campaign

Ribbon sized:

What do you all think?

Hi Michael,
I checked with Historex here and it's not in stock yet, they also didn't have a price yet.
Haven't seen anything from Eduard.
Badge is looking good.
