Here is Cyber Hobbies USS Boxer LPH-4 or CV-21. USS Boxer was a Essex class carrier that was commissioned in April of 1945 too late to see any combat in WW2. Boxer would go on to serve in Korea, and after the Korean war was transformed into a Landing Platform Helicopter. I'm truly disappointed with this kit. It only features 8 UH.5 Helo's used by the marines. What I'm probably going to do is either turn her into a different Essex Carrier used in WW2 or into the Boxer as she was in Korea. That being said here is the inbox review prior to my glue arriving.

The Decals are provided for her when she was LPH-4 not CV-21

Small set of Photo-etch and special parts for this kit

Wessex UH-5

Deck/Hull/Interior Hangar

Weapons Stations/Weapons/Tugs
The tugs are quite nice and really give scale to the behemoth carrier.

The Island.
Really nicely done, nothing much else to say

Hangar Parts/Doors/Misc.

Thanks for looking

Alex, thanks for the look inside the box. I'm looking forward to seeing it in Korean War livery. Do you have a source for Korean War aircraft in 1/700?

Cheers!

She carried from what I've gathered on wikipedia and other sites a mix of F4U Corsairs, F9F Panther and Cougars, and Sikorsky H-5's. I know i can get the F4U from Trumpeter, the F9F and Sikorsky's are going to be alittle bit more difficult.
