While I know the answer, it's always curious to me why two manufacturers release the same kit, in the same configuration (ie; the Indy).

But what about the Sweet Pea?

Great ship - Cool Splinter Scheme - 16 Battle Stars

Both prewar and late war configurations, different configuration from Indy in having no flag space.

Tremendous History

1. Search Vessel for USS Akron
2. At sea during Pearl Harbor
3. Coral Sea (with 722 survivors from Lex)
4. Midway (TF-17)
5. Guadalcanal, Solomons
6. Sanata Cruz
7. Aleutians
8. Gilbert, Marshalls
9. New Guinea
10. Peleliu
11. Yap, Ulithi, Palau
12. Leyte (Surigao Strait Battle)
13. Lingayen Gulf
14. Manila bay
15. Okinawa
And Operation Magic Carpet

Sure would be nice to honor the ship. Anyone know of plans to release a version?

Save the "Sweet Pea" !!!!
