We take a closer look at these new accessory upgrade items from Fine Molds, part of their Nano Dread series. These are really pretty amazing.

Utterly amazing, how can something that small be cast ? - I have seen larger flash on other kits...

First thing that comes to my mind is why they are not making add-ons for the Trumpie 1/200th scale models? They would look better than the "flat" PE sets and I would guess they would be easier to handle and fix too. In any case this verges on sheer magic creating such detail in 1/700th scale. Bet the price is equally impressive
Cheers,
Julian

HLJ has them for about $10 + shipping.

http://www.hlj.com/product/FNMWA-16/Nav

And DragonUSA's store has them for about $13 + shipping

So not very much considering. There are quite a few other sets available as well. They do have some 1/350 Nano Dread sets also.

They are truly outstanding sets! They are also coming out with a US set in the very near future containing 20mm and 1.1's .

In the MG set you get (8) 13mm type 93 quads, (8) 13mm type 93 twin mounts, and (8) 13mm type 93 single mounts.

Sounds like it should be enough. And they're nice and cheap on HLJ at the moment. I might have to pick a set or two up for a couple of projects.
Thanks
