Heya, Folks,

I recently saw the Bronco 35th scale XXIII at a club meeting and can't help but be amazed at the work some of the members here are doing on the kit.

I'm contemplating purchasing the kit, but at the moment, no one in the States (and even Lucky Model, offshore) seems to have the kit in stock.

Anyone know if this was a limited edition kit and if it is truly out of Production or if another round is due to hit hobby distributors soon?

I had thought this kit had only come out in March and was surprised to see the usual sources in the US (Squadron, Stevens, Spruebrothers) not listing it as in stock.

Thanks in advance!

With Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B.

Thanks, Andy, much appreciated!!!

Heard back from my LHS and it looks like the kit is going to be re-released soon and I want to give them the business, so I might just hold out for a little while longer until it is re-released.

Not quite sure why it disappeared unless it was initially a limited release...? Oh, well.

Thanks again, Andy!!

With Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B.

Bronco probably only produced a certain number of kits to see how well they sold. They wouldn't want kits sitting in their warehouse gathering dust. Al

Makes sense, Al --- don't want to take a bath on the kit if it is a dog. Nice work on yours, by the way!

Thanks, Guys --- much appreciated!!

Sounds good, George --- why am I not surprised that you've already got this one?! Yep, seeing Ken show his Type XXIII at the club meeting really put the hook in me! Can't wait ta see how you and Ken finish your boats...

You just missed me and Max working in the store, so I reckon we'll see you at the July meeting --- some people will do ANYTHING to miss my annual club demo (June meeting)!

Thanks for chiming in, George!

And I'm looking forward to continuing to follow the amazin' and inspiring work that the folks on this site are doin' to that sub!!

With Regards and Aloha,

Johnny B.
