Look what came in the mail today!!
I am not sure if it is good value, but seeing it is one of the few RAN vessels available I had to have it.
Sprues are in individual bags.
The sail has already come adrift.
For the $25 I paid for it I think it could have at least come with a seperate instruction sheet rather than using the sides of the box.
Moulding look OK on initial inspection. More to come late.

Very interesting Warren, what is the long pointy tuby thing sticking out the stern just above the screw? Is that where the crank goes to start the engine? On a more serious note I suppose that that is for the towed array or am I seriously off target here

Wikipedia says it is the largest conventionally powered sub.(!) About 254 ft in length, 26 feet wide at the beam.

Very neat! But why can't someone make a sub in a little bigger scale. Maybe they think this is the standard for ships, or maybe they don't think there would be enough detail. I rode a Fast Attack for four years and there would be detail to show. Oh well. Nice kit any way.
