Hi All,
Me again with another question about Trumpies 1/350 ships.
I realize that the models can be either a full, or waterline build.
But if doing the full hull is the waterline plate omitted or sandwiched between the other two pieces (waterline = 2 pieces; full hull = 3 pieces)? Also should the boot topping be painted along the top of lower (red) hull, along the bottom of the upper (grey) hull or straddling both parts?
TIA
Tom

Tom,
You omit the waterline plate if building the full hull version, while the boot topping location in most cases, is marked on the plastic with faint raised lines (you paint between the lines)

That goes with what I was thinking Luciano re. the plate.
I've Hipper and Spee in 350.
Looking at Hipper - no line. Spee has a raised line denoting the boot topping (trust me to look at the one without ), so I'll go with bottom of upper hull.
), so I'll go with bottom of upper hull.
