Warren you are going to put us all to shame if you knock that whole kit out in less than a month.
The aircraft should slow you down a bit

Sorry for this Jonathan but the ship is finished as far as I can go without the aircraft decals I need for the early air wing.
So without any further ado, I present to you the $35 1/350 CVAN-65 USS Enterprise..

I used fly tying thread for the arrester cables.
I have to make some supports for the jet blast deflector..
And the air wing production line is in full swing.

So there we have it. :ools pretty good to me for just $35 and I have seen lots of detail improvements I can make when I build the Tamiya one.
Later dudes
Warren

pretty nice!
Hat's off for a fine build, and a start to finish endurance run. You have earned a refreshment!

by the way where can you buy 1/1350 aircraft decals?

You USED to be able to buy Hi-viz decals from GMM but they have discontinued them for some reason. You can still get canopy decals and lo-viz decals from them.

For some reason I found the ship decals but not those air wing decals Jonathan.
Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
