Ahoy Alan,
You have put life in these older kits!
You say that there are some dimensional issues, despite that,
you have depicted excellent renditions of these crafts.
2 more for your collection!
I would say that until a manufacturer comes along and offers
better kits, these are still fine kits and again, you have
done a great job: craft, figures and details!
Cheers,
Joe

Hi Joe,
Many thanks for your kind comments. They are a decent enough kit to build and I was glad to see the re-release although it was hard to track down UK side.
Kenny aka Gator did a nice model of the Command/Fire Control version. I would like to have a go at making the LCP (L) at some point as it was widely used by the British in the early part of the war and I do hope Italeri continue their LCP range.
Cheers

Hi folks,
There is some good footage in this British Pathe film of the Royal Navy LCV, LCA, LCPR and LCM 3. Most of the boat action starts about half way through the film.

The LCPR boats show up after about 8 minutes and it was this footage that sparked he 2nd build.

Nice work Alan, you mention a slight 4' discrepancy, have you got a 'snag list' to bring it up to scratch, as it were?

Hi Jon,
No I'm afraid I don't although plans exist for the boat. I took most of my fixes from the PATHE footage and this site:

Sorry for the late reply, I only just saw your post.
Cheers
