Good morning John, don't put too much tension on the piece of EZ-line,and don't use too much CA, that might help. Otherwise get some accelerator, hold the line against the CA and hit it with some accelerator, that will certainly do the trick.

hi julian thanks once again for your help i will get some accelerator asap and give it a go . i think i might have used to much c/a glue as in the end it started melting the plastic on the deck best wishes john

You melted the deck? That sounds like a lot of glue you are using Try putting a drop CA on a piece of aluminium foil, (I use those aluminium pie tray thingies), and then apply the CA from there with a tothpick or a pin, a tiny drop is all you need for rigging

P.s. don't drown everything in accelerator either, once again a drop goes a long way ...........

hello mate you nailed it i think when you said i was using to much glue. in the end i was mixing c/a thin and thick with superglue trying to get the bugger to stick. i will try again with tiny amount of c/a thin and leave rigging not to tight just enough to look under pressure all my best wishes mate john

Hi John,

Drill tiny holes with a # 75 micro drill bit.

While holding the EZ line with tweezers, push it into the hole
with a needle and add a tiny drop of CA. Once dry, cut any excess.

In this way, you have "anchored" the Ez line into the deck.

I think the problem your having is that the Ez line and CA
are trying to stick to the paint, under too much tension,
without success.

My method works without fail for me, it should for you too.

Cheers,
Joe
