Thanks Bruce ...
This novel is very special to me.
It began life as a short story for a writing class in college in 1981, the professor told me that I should try and expand upon it and make it a novel.
Then, when the girl who the main love interest is based on passed away in 1983, I promised her "spirit" that - one day - I'd get it in print. I always kept my word to her ...
And, because I am disabled with Cerebral Palsy - it is the only way I could realize a dream of being a naval officer and a PT skipper.
It'll PROBABLY be my one and only novel ... I "had to" do it ... and it was cargethic for me.

Will have to check this one out Garth. Should prove to be an interesting story knowing your passion for P.T. boats. I just P/U your book, U.S. Patrol Torpedo Boats in W.W.2 and must say I've read it twice already. Keep finding stuff I missed the read before. Great book of info and am looking forward now to my 103 class build. Hope you are doing well ande thatnks for your efforts. bob d.
