I use a toothpick or a stretched sprue remenant to apply CA but I'm in a bit of a quandry as to what to put the glue in!
I can't get the toothpick into the bottle and I think I'm wasting a considerable amount of glue pouring small amounts from the bottle into some sort of dish and then finding it's gone solid just when I've positioned everything and NEED that drop of glue!
Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Tom. Try getting Wurth superglue, which I believe is available in the UK. The nozzle can be removed from the plastic bottle and you can simply pick a tiny drop directly with a toothpick or similar pointed stick. Careful not to tip over the bottle though!

I'll keep an eye open for that Joseph.
Fear not, Blue Tack on the bottle's bottom helps prevent spills.

Hi Tom.

Don't know if this helps, but what I use is small post-it notes.

when I'm ready to use super glue, I just put a tiny drop on the post-it note pad (the really small ones about an inch by inch in size) and use a toothpick to transfer the glue to parts.

then when I'm done I just pull the top post-it note with any leftover glue off and toss in the trash.

I know I waste a little of the glue this way, but it makes it so much handier to work with for me.

Wax paper from the kitchen works well.

Hi Tom: Here's a slick trick for using superglue. Get one of those scented candles that come in a small round metal tin. they are about 1 1/2" in diameter and about 1/2" deep. Take a 1/4" drill bit and gently drill a hole about 1/8" into the wax. pour a couple of drops of super glue into the little hole and then you can use that as a dispenser. The super glue will not dry while sitting in the wax. When you finished with it clean it out with a Q-tip for the next time you need it. I melt a candle into a pop bottle lid. Works the same. Bob

I save pop bottle and milk carton covers and just squeeze out one or two drops of CA on their tops and use that as my reservoir. The CA doesn't soak in like on paper, and stays usable for a couple of hours.

Get the Glue Looper I use it and don't lose CA glue as much as I did.
