Hi guys.I finished rigging on IJN Tone by Tamiya about 3 months ago, using mono filament fishing line. Problem is the rigging started to sag and look loose. I used the same material on my two previous builds and they both still ok. Does anyone know how to fix the problem without having to redo the rigging?

Hi Joseph: This is an easy task. Light a match, let it burn for a sec, blow it out and drag it along - just under your sagging rigging. the remaining heat from the match will tighten the rigging. be careful not to touch the rigging with the match. good luck. Bob

using a heated craft knife blade tip is my favourite method on WWI aircraft. I heat it using a teawarmer candle. Some use a soldering iron I've heard. As Robert says run it close to the rigging but don't let it touch it or any other part if using a soldering iron.

Thanks guys for your tips. At first I thought using a warm set hair dryer, but both your methods seem more favourable and easier to control by applying heat only where necessary. Thanks again!
