It's always a rare treat to see an auxiliary or merchantman, particularly one so well crafted, but I must say Chris' beach scene is the best surf depiction I have seen.
I hope you will find opportunities to show more shoreline-water action dioramas--you can practically hear the crash of the breakers!

These are fine compliments...thank you, it means a lot! The downside with the shoreline is that it doesn't give a lot of plausible depth/room for a ship! I pushed the limit with how close this Maru is to the beach (too close), but I compressed the space to fit more in.
