Not sure if anyone noticed but I have been away from the site for a while. I recently have switched jobs and had some health related issues.

I have also decided to step down from my Editor position here at Model Shipwrights. I have enjoyed the time I spent as a staff member here. It was a, as the title states, a long strange trip.

The new job has some strange hours and I also am working on building my photography business. I have met some great modelers here and am honored to have met you all. There is always some interesting friendly conversations taking place here and that is what I have always liked about this modeling site compared to others.

Keep up the great work all. May you all have fair winds and following seas in your projects ahead.

Thanks guys. It is always hard to make a decision like this, but I know it was the right one.

I do plan on staying with the hobby and even hope to get back to building when I get my schedule all figured out. But, according to the planners at work our main customer is ready to open the flood gates and swamp us again. That is a good thing.

Ahoy Jim

Real sorry to hear this news.

You had big shoes to step into and did it very admirably.

I personally can certainly appreciate where you are at Jim.

Thanks for all your hard work & dedication. I hope like me you do keep the faith and keep lurking around the forum.

Cheers

Sean
