I am about to start adding the copper plates to my 1/96 Constitution. Any tips out there. Never done it. I guess you use super glue. Start at the keel and work up in rows, cutting at the water line?
Thanks.

There is a site dedicated to sailing ships that has several threads regarding coppering which is here: http://modelshipworld.com/
YouTube has videos, and an example of one is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XO9eAnqGg8M
The simplest way is to use copper tape, which you can get from Model Expo or Blue Jacket Shipcrafters and has an adhesive backing. After applying it you scribe the lines for the plates and use a pawl (available from Floating Drydock) to simulate the rivets.
