Chris,

I know this is a 1/350 kit but a tiny one since it's a corvette.

Did you still use oatmeal for the water shaping?

I sure did. dry oat bran shaped until happy, hit it with CA, then lots and lots and lots of layers of gel medium and clear medium until it's very buried and filled. I sand the oats before I do this though.
