Mrs. Gremlin56 found an unbuilt 1/144 Revell Type XXI submarine with interior details up in the attic. Must have been a purchase made by one of my sons years ago. It's pretty basic and the question is if it is worth attempting a build or is best to bin it and forget it?

Hello Julian,

It is not all that bad. It will certainly be a fun build and
the interior, altough not entirely correct, will certainly be
a eye catchers, for this model.

Cheers,
Joe

Okay Joe,
The cabins look like steerage on the love boat
I won't even mention the communal showers..............
worth adding to the stash though so I will.
Thanks for the input

Ahoy Julian

Why not build it as alow stress out of the box build.

Might just be the tonic you need after your 1/200 build?

Cheers

There you go tempting me me with the forbidden fruits my friend
I may get around to this model but first I am tempted by other more recent offerings.
Of course photos of a build of this model model could tempt me to misbehave

Hi Sean,
do you realise that the 1/200th Hornet might be more relaxing than this 1/144 little monster
If I did pick up on this model it would not be an OOB build. There is too much here to work on. That is why my friend from Uruguay is trying to pull me into this build

Yeah, well................This is one I probably would not have bought. It's a veritable Coo coo mate. This is not something that you shake out of the OOB sleeve. This is like the Lorelei.
Beautiful and deadly. Safe is to put it in the stash and forget it. Living on the edge is building it.
