The Eduard photo etch for the Revell VIIC 1/72 has a bow and stern deck piece. Do I mount those on top of the Nautilus wood deck that I am using or do I need to saw off the corresponding ends of the Nautilus deck? If I do have to remove the bow and stern from the Nautilus deck, how would you recommend stiffening the Eduard pieces to avoid sag?
