Hi everyone.

I purchased several White Ensign Models deck guns for the 1/72 VIIC U-boat. Each one has a bent barrel. Any suggestions on how to straighten it out? I'm having no success.

Thanks.

Have you tried contacting WEM about this? They are always extremely helpful is my experience.

Hi Alex,

I purchased off of Ebay and some of my barrels were bent too. I straightened them out using
finger pressure, as the metal is on the soft side but was not satisfied with the end result.
So I went on to replace them with brass barrels....they now look 100% better.

Cheers,
Joe

Hi Joe. Same exact situation here. Are the brass barrels Griffon or Schatton? Speaking of Schatton, bought some of his periscope sets: incredible.

Thanks.

Hi Alex,
I have purchased both RB barrels and Griffon details.

These replacements will make the guns look must better.

Cheers,
Joe
