Hans Joachim; this is impressive! If you are a newbie model maker, then I can not await seeing your work with more experience - it might be extraordinary! The interior bulkheads, are they laser-cut wood or laserboard?

hi, thanks a lot for your commendation!
All main structure parts like the bulkheads are 1 or 2mm lasercut wood, sanded, lacquered and then painted with steel color.
Newbie - it took me 1 and 1/2 year, starting from 0, to work out my idea of a submarine model with interior details, so I was forced to learn a lot and so I won experience :-)
This is is my first model, but I think not my last, as I am specially interested in WWI German submarine warfare and have some more detailed plans of other types. Next I will do a UB-III without interior structure, but instead with place for rc-equipment.
best regards
Hans

What a glorious and magnificent debut for a new modeler! I too look forward to more from you, Hans,as you already bring a distinctive flair to your work. And, I look forward to more Great War subjects!
