Hi all
Finally finished this Little gem. It's the Mirage kit, and it's really quite good. I used the WEM PE, which is great, and there's several options to choose from. It actually holds enough parts for almost two ships, so I simply must build another I used a brass antenna from a panzer update set for the formast, so it wouldn't bend when the rigging got on. Also I found some small chain for the ancors, which looks far better than the flat ones from the PE set.
Please do comment.
Jacob

Looks Great.

A question or two:

What colors did you use for three color camouflage?

What is the width of the main mast (I would have to order some brass rod and am curious which width to get)?

Thanks, and again, great little flower.

Excellent build Jacob,

It is a lovely little kit, and a great etched set and you have done them justice.

Well done.

Great job, Jacob. She seems out of place on those smart brass pedestals and neat wood base - she looks like she should really be bouncing over a rolling North Atlantic!

I've never seen a prettier Flower!

Nice work Jacob, great to see you drifting into shipbuilding - soon there will be no turning back

If you build another one, I dare you to put it into a seascape !!

Thanks for all the kind Words.
Bryan: I used a Royal light grey from Tamiya (XF 80?) as the base color, which was air brushed on. Then I hand painted the other two colors, which are both from the Humbrol range; #77 and #150. I'm not sure if these are the correct colors, but I think they macth the color plate in the instrctions pretty good.
Tim: You're absolutly right! Bt I simpy don't dare to venture into making Water Im sure I'll f..k it all up, but maybe someday
