A couple of photos of the last project I built before suspending my model ships building activity back in 2004.
It's the La Fayette Frigate (F710) of the French Navy (Marine Nationale in french but also known by La Royale) with the namesake "Marquis de Lafayette".
It's an excellent 1/700 resin kit with photo etch parts and decals produced by L'Arsenal but yet lacking the Dauphin helicopter that came from the spare box as well as the PE main rotor blades.
I used Mike Grant 1/600 International Naval Insignia Decals and Markings for the Dauphin Helicopter.
This is a very easy to build resin model and a good start for a beginner.
