Late last week over on Armorama I floated a campaign proposal to cover the PTO from 1941-1945. Given the heavy involvement of naval forces on both sides during the war, I'd love to have some ship builders in the campaign as well. Either Allied or Japanese, as long as it served in the Pacific, during the time period it's good to go. I'm also including the what if factor of Operations Olympic/Cornet and the Russian intervention in Manchuria (which includes their landing on Sakhalin Island. The start date would be 19 February 2015 to coincide with the 70th Anniversary of the landing on Iwo Jima with a conclusion date of 2 September 2015 which would be in honor of the 70th Anniversary of the surrender in Tokyo Bay. What do you guys think? We could definitely use some Naval Support!

I'm interested with my Revell PT Boat. Can't sell it on eBay so I may as well put it to work.

Planning to do a little barge busting, Mike? Or will you be trying to derail the Tokyo Express? LOL. Either way, glad to have you!

Depends on what accessories I can dig up for the kit. If I can find the late-war 'roll over' torpedoes I may do a boat from the Leyte Gulf battle. It'd be a good match for the submarine I'm doing for that same battle for the Leyte Gulf campaign build.

Decisions, decisions.

I just ordered the Revell 1/144 LSM kit(got excited following Gremlin56's build here) so I'll probably go with that. That way I can do armor and a boat.

Howdy Y'all
I'm in-got a bunch of stuff I can build. Where will the thread be located, in Armorama?
Take care,
Don "Lakota"
