Heller is re-releasing there 1/400 HMS Illustrious WW-2 Aircraft carrier. Good news as we need more british ship models!
Next, one that I am sure alot of you will be happy with. A 1/72 scale LCVP , And this one is a new mold kit. They say these should be out late January or February.
I hope this makes a few of us happy!

Cheers,
Garry

Howdy garry,

I'd be a wee bit happier if the LCVP was in 1/35th scale!!! :-)

Garybeebe, Heller seems to have a mixed reputation in ships. Mostly they get decent reviews but their Hood is considered terrible. Any word on how their Illustrious compares? Not that there is much to compare it to, large scale British, or an aircraft carrier. Still any new, or even newer, British kit is welcome.

I was doing a bit of surfing to find info on the 1/400 Illustrious. It seems the kit is basically a good one but there are inaccuracies, mainly on the island structure and the sponsons for the main AA battery. I can't wait to get hold of one.
