HMS Nelson 1944 in 1/200th and HMS Valiant 1939 in 1/700th (1/350th would have been nice!) but good news all the same.

Hi Luciano,
Still very tempted by the Nelson though.

Hey Si! That's my gig!
Wouldn't have thought they would have gone with the Nelson in 1/200 for their first British warship in that scale.
And speaking of the Nelson, here's a build I love that I found some time ago of the airfix kit (1/600) from an IPMS waterline SIG site.

Apologies for pulling the scoop on you Michael but that was too good not to pass on straight away
Odd one, since Trumpeter have been promising HMS Hood in that scale for some time, could it be two RN subjects in 1/200th
I need a bigger workshop / house!

Free Time Hobbies announced Nelson and Hood in 1/200 as Pre-orders today. I'm starting to like that scale, even for capital ships!

Sorry to be a downer guys, but I think this is a poor choice by Trumpy: Folks have been begging for 1/350 Nelson for a years, myself included, but at 1/200 it's too expensive for my wallet (not only the kit but the AM and paint as well) and too big for my house!
