Hmmm.. re-pop of the Zvezda kit. The stand gives it away.

Yes, this kit was originally released as the Sevastopol by Zvezda in 2012 and the only difference in this boxing is a change in decals.

Ahh, the trials and tribulations of "new kit" releases. I don't think I would have picked up on that myself!

Well written review James! Appreciate you taking the time to have a go! Hope your first experience was a decent one my friend! Looking forward to seeing the next one come about soon!!

James; your first review is very well done! Super photos showing remarkable detail; comprehensive descriptions; information about aftermarket parts very useful. "...clean moldings, free of flash and easy to follow instructions.", good summary.

Hi everyone, glad you approve, was a challenge to write! No hard feelings Warreni, I know what you meant. Was it a good kit to build?

Yes James, it was. I used the Pontos set and it came out looking great. So great in fact I ordered another Sevastopol that only cost me $9.99 at a Luckymodel sale that may still be on.

Very nice review James.

Pity it is a straight repop of the Zvezda Kit, would have been nice to see at least a small sprue parts to mark the difference between the two ships.

Thank you for this review, I am currently building it, but cannot find anything about the rigging, eg where were the rigging lines of the chimneys attached to? Does anybody know where I could find rigging info?

Cheers
