The French "1 ,500 ton" fleet submarine (Redoutable class, not the nuke but the prewar one) will be available soon this Spring inh 1/400 scale. rnrn

Very neat! It's easy to forget the submarine war of WWII was not just with U-boats and Gatos.
And the 'Redoutable-class' boats had 11 tubes! 3 external tubes midships were on trainable mounts.
And at 1/400 I could do a 'Casablanca' boat that'd go nicely with my Mirage ORP Sokol.

Exactly! The Orzel as a boat made FOR the Polish Navy (Sokol was a British made U-class given to the Free Polish Navy).
Both Orzel and Casablance have exciting escape-from-the-Nazis stories to them.

Fred they already do it in 1/350, I've got one and it's very nice and slowly moving up the to build next pile.
