Kostas Katseas shares with us, yet another fine watery rendition straight from his bench! This time a conversion of Trumpeter Models'' USS Hornet into the USS Enterprise as she would be seen in 1944.

Wonderful work.
the water around the ship and the bow spray are unbelievably realistic, and the fire crew at work on deck and the water running off is a really imaginative and well rendered scene all by itself.

crikey your're right, it is a 50 star flag

[edit to add: for the record, Alaska and Hawaii were admitted as states and the flag changed in 1959.]
