Airfix has has announced the June 2015 release of kit A50164, a full-hull version of the RMS Titanic in 1/700 scale.

Did Airfix change the mouldings from the original Academy? The Academy version is waterlined, but with optional lower hull - which fits snugly and very well. Huge ship! It dwarfs contemporary battleships.

Weird - I built a 1/700 Titanic last year which was full hull and I ended up cutting the bottom of the hull off to make a waterline version. Would there be more than one kit out there?
