Up till now i have used an airbrush with a can of air ,now i have just brought my first mini compressor and wondered if it would be possible to use some water instead of paint to get the spray from the brush how i want it if this isnt what should be done any ideas thanks john

I would suggest paint on a scrap plastic or an older unwanted model. That way you can see what the airbrush is doing and practice.

Probably better to use paint rather than water, so you can see the results better.

Hey John,
depends on the brand of paint, but for a baseline application, it probably would work just fine.

John if your working with acrylics the guide is to have the paint the constancy of milk plus a few drops of retarder to slow the drying process.
