Signed up,

Got the Revell Bismarck 1/350 with the Pontos upgrade in the stash. Will start it for the campaign, don't know it I will finish it with within the timescale of the campaign.

If I can pick up a WEM Havelock from anywhere I will build her as Hesperus, young Duster is in Hesperus Division at Pangbourne College,

Cheers.

Si

Si,

we could continue or interesting 'sharing' of subjects as we do in the Cruisers Campaign - you do the German ships, I the RN ones...

I do have the same Bismarck with Pontos as you mentioned, but if you do her, I'll pick something RN - possibly the Trumpi 1/350 Hood... I am a little limited here - PoW and Repulse already finished, my KGV will (sometime) definitely by a late version. And as of now, everybody is shy in releasing 1/350 Rodney, Ark Roay, Victorious, Renown... But Hood or an Tribal DD would be possibilities!

Off topic - is there a gallery for the Cruisers Campaign yet, or am I missing it??

Cheers,

Jan

Ark Royal in 1/350 has been announced by Trumpeter. Not sure when it'll be released though. Man if I can get my hands on that, it could easily be my entry.

Glad I found this campaign! And now have an excuse to pull out my 1/700 Rodney (Tamiya), and Tom's photo etch. The molds look a bit rough, so I'll most likely try to get some metal barrels, etc to help it out.

It will eventually be joined by Tamiya's Nelson for an early/late war comparison.

See you in two months!

I was hoping someone would jump in with that one! Finally, a 1/350 RN carrier.

After a long hiatus (who knew having kids took up so much time) I'm looking forward to building again. I hope to finish the Tamiya 1/700 Prinze Eugen.

Stores are in and ready to go.

Working on preparing a vacant slipway, or to put another way, getting something finished.

Cheers

HEY, this bad boy was supposed to start on the 21st and I totally missed it! Sorry everyone! I now officially call on this one to start and adjust the end date to 25/5/17 to make up for my mistake.

Anchors aweigh!

No worries Michael!

I'll post my initial entry and first progress of my HMS Hood there as soon as I find some time tomorrow!

While you are talking of shifting timelines - not that a day or two would matter for the building of the models - I just think it would be 'more appropriate' to make the end date 27/5/17. Start the beginning of Rheinübung, as was announced, and Si and myself duly started , end end date on the 76th anniversary of Bismarck's sinking. Just an idea.

Cheers,
Jan

Thanks Jan! You're probably right about the end date, but you might want to remind me then. I can't think that far ahead at the moment!
