A release time of early January is expected for IBG Model's first ship kits of the 
Hunt II Class Destroyers - ORP Ślązak and ORP Kujawiak . IBG has provided us with box art for the new kits.

Are those PE Oerlikons and boat davits I see?...very nice!  Even the ship's boats are decently done!  A little refining here and there, especially on the mast, and maybe AM main armaments, and it looks like a real nice model.

The armor modelers really seem to like their 1/72 scale vehicles so they have experience in molding small stuff that looks good. At less than $13.00 US, I'll be getting one of these destroyers myself.

A new tooled Royal Navy WWII Destroyer? Now this I have to get! I'm hoping it could be the start of a range of new destroyers.
On the bench: 1/72 Mosquito, Lightning F.6, DH.2,
AMT Vulcan Shuttle Surak.

Would a British Hunt Class be possible OOB, or with little to 0 conversion?  Or will we have to wait a few more months for that particular version?

Kits will be available not only on IBG Models site but in distributors like Hannants, Free Time Hobbies, ModellbauKoenig and some smaller. 
British ones? Of course
