I admit, math and I aren't the best of friends. I have a rsource book, Battleships and Battlecruisers that has line drawings of every BB or BC from 1905 to 1970. The drawings are mostly all in 1/1200 scale. I would like to enlarge them using my copier to either 1/700 or 1/350. What percentage would I use to enlarge from 1/1200 to either 1/700 or 1/350. If you can please also give me how you arrived at it.

Thanks in advance.

if 1/1200 is 100%,
1/700 is 171,42%
1/350 is 342,85%

if 1/12 is 1 and 1/7 is W
1/12W=1/7
W=1/7 x 12/1
W=12/7
W=1,714285714285714285

I wish it helps
I marked the unknown as W because my wife solved that

Ok, thanks. I think. Looks like 171% to go to from 1/1200 to 1/700. My copier doesn't go above 200% so I'll have to enlarge from 200% to go from 1/700 to 1/350.

Thanks Graywolf, or thank your wife for me.
