Would anyone know if any branch of the Kriegsmarine, especially ground troops, garrison troops, and crews of Atlantik Wall fortifications manned by naval forces, wore the Feldmutze? That's the brimmed cap in service from around 1943 - '45.

I found this link, Biggs, that makes reference to the Kriegsmarine use of them. From what I gather, they would have been in use.
