Got this in the mail last week I wash it in soap and water. Also gave it a alcohol bath. I then wet sand it so the paint would hold. Two coats of prime on. Like the shape of the hull,no pits,no warp. I would like to do her in the 64'yr. But large aft housing removal would have destroy the hull. So she will be built in 1971 Nam Era. Waiting on Long Beach to complete my Task Force One.

You really have a very special and interesting selection of ships, Mardis!! Many ones I have never seen as a model! Looking forward to see your Task Force grow!

Cheers,

O.K. so I wet sand the hull and got rid the small dings and scratches. Prime and did the deck weather blue. Ohhh I found out that housing came during her refit in 1977. But that's alright, she still a Nam Warrior.

Mardis,

Bainbridge was one beautiful ship. It is a pleasure watching your build come together!
