I saw Trumpter's USS Texas in 1/350 for $75. I have not seen a Trumpter ship kit so I have nothing to compare it with. I have had Tamiya's USS Missouri and the Yamoto. How does the quality compare and specifically has anyone built the Texas? If so, your thoughts?

I haven't built this kit but i have built Trumpeter kit before and am happy with them. I have been to the actual Uss. Texas over in Houston, very cool. I still have the photos if your interested. Great ship.

The quality and fit of tamiya will be better, but the Trumpeter Texas kit is not bad except for the overscale hull plating.
My 2 cents.

Fairly well engineered from an assembly stand point, but has some accuracy issues that may or may not bug you. I have one partially built up.
