I am preparing to build the Tamiya new tool Yamato and want to add the PE railings. I see Eduard has a set that appears to be already put together (http://www.eduard.com/store/Eduard/Yamato-railings-new-tool-1-350.html), but I also see Tamiya has a set that has individual railings and wire (http://www.tamiyausa.com/product/item.php?product-id=12642)
Has anyone had experience with either? I am fairly new to ship building and want a realistic look, but also something that will not frustrate me.
Thanks.

Hey Tyler....I know the Eduard set is a decent set of photo etch to work with. The Tamiya set was a new one to me though. While I personally like the idea of the Tammy set and will render a slightly more realistc look to the railing...to be honest, I think your frustration level will be much less with the Eduard. You can attach a full run quickly resulting in a fantastic look with the Ed stuff, the other set involves placement of all the stanchions individually and then snake the brass wire through after. Maybe this would be a good idea in 1/200, I just think it might be a little tedious in 1/350.

Thanks Todd. That is exactly what I needed to hear. I was leaning towards the Eduard simply for the fact it is all one piece. I appreciate the advise.
