Since Marco was faster and wrote two answers that I had planned, I will try with USS Regulus AK-14

Well, it does look like we have a winner!

Congratulations Marco! It is in fact the USS Sirius (AK-15).

Marco, we will contact you by PM soon about winning.

Thank you...to everyone who took the chance in making a guess or two! This was a fun experience to be apart of and we hope it was for all of you as well! We look forward to hopefully playing this game again in the near future! And a Huge thanks to Battlefleet Models for making the contest happen!

Hi All,

Sorry I was not around today. We always like to go to the Zoo on the hottest day of the year(101)! But, I will say, the Denver Zoo has the best Hamburgers and Fries in town.

Congratulations, Marco.

Actually the picture above is not the kit I did(just a little different). The BattleFleet Models kit BFM-711 is the 1944 fit.

Yes, there will be a new contest next month a 1/350 item.
So keep you eyes on the site for Todd’s post.

Update on the AK 15:

I made a mistake on the navigation bridge. Steel deck not wood.
Instead of a quick fix, I am making a new part.
The kit will be ready to start shipping by Wednesday.

Also there will be a new “Name this Ship” contest.
Starting next Saturday 08/13.
A 1/350 ship this time.
