My proposal is for a campaign for warships that actually met in battle. I know this sounds like the Duel campaign, but this inclusive of more ships and eras.

You have to do some research, and find a two ships that met in battle, ie. HMS Shannon and the USS Chesapeake, USS Pillsbury and the U505, Warspite and the Dieter von Roether, or even the USS Arizona and the Hiryu. They must have been engaged in battle against each other, no Bismarcks vs Iowa classes.

Any scale, any era ancient times to modern.

OOB or PE its all the same to me! Have as much fun and be as detailed as you like!

One may be partially started, but the second ship must be unopened. Two people may enter one ship on opposing sides, but they must be unopened.

Also tell us about the actual battle that the two ships engaged in against each other, and what was the outcome.

What do you all think?

I like the idea!

But - well, due to my glacier build speed, my participation would be conditioned to the starting time and honesty, I don't see my starting anything next to my Hood in 2016...
SO for a 2017 campaign, and a shared build, i.e. finding a buddy to build the two opponents, this sounds interesting

Cheers,
Jan

We just had to extend the Cruisers Campaign, so perhaps we should hold off on anything new? I'm open to the will of the members, however.
