Getting four weeks of holiday and paternity leave this summer, I started my new project: an 1/350 USS Nimitz in her possible livery in the 2020ies, sporting an airwing comprising F/A-18F Super Hornets, F/A-18D Hornets, EA-18G Growlers, F-35C Lighting IIs, E-2D Hawkeyes, C-2 Greyhounds, X-47B UAVs and MH-60R Strikehawks.

Until now, I got the carrier complete and weathered. I tried to rework / rebuild the defensive weapons sponsons that Nimitz got in the last view years and added lots of 3D printed radomes. The aircraft will as well get 3D printed external stores.
