Comsixthflt Flag ship spent most of her time anchored in an around France. First saw her in 1965 on my first Med cruise. Had a great band aboard and they played for us when the Tanker I was on re-fueled her. Used to carry Sixthflt Balloon and kite pool. (Balloons and paper kites that said U.S. Sixth Fleet Power for Peace on them) As well as the Sizth fleet wine mess items!!
