Hi
The 1/144 new tool Revell Flower Class Corvette is out - my site has it for $36. This is new tool. I've seen some photos, but no reviews. Anyone seen the real deal? Not sure about PE yet.

It's been out for a while now and several of us here have it myself included. As yet no pe sets are available nor metal gun barrels, IMO at the very least you would want to replace the 20mm AA's as these are quite poor.

The hull has several small but annoying faults, such as vertical mold lines running through hull plates, and some shallow sink depressions. The main turret (or more correctly, gun shield) needs considerable thinning at visible edges as it looks like 12" armor plate. I have a set of l'Arsenal Oerlikons (but more on that later), and the model would benefit from AM replacement weapons which are yet to be produced, as is a PE set. But, all in all, a nice medium sized model.
