I have a good friend that will be retiring soon and would like to build him a replica of one of the ships he served on while in the Navy.  He served in the late 60's to early 70's and was on the USS Arneb (attack cargo ship) as well as an assault landing craft.
Does anyone know of a model similar to either of these types of ships correct for the time period?
