Has anyone built a 1/225 scale Glencoe USS Oregon? I have been asked to build on and not sure if I have the "right stuff".
Thanks,

I think I have a Kalmbach book that has a build article regarding this kit. I can take a look at it if you need e to. From what I recall and know about Glencoe kits, they are re-pops of ancient and sometimes really bad kits from companies gone out-of-business long ago. Some of the kits I have bought had decals that were so nice that it seemed a shame to put them on an old Glencoe kit.

I dimly remember a model of the USS Maine that sounds very similar to your Oregon that was unbuildable. The turret arangement couldn't be made the way the model was constructed. I hope the Oregon is better. I found this review of your kit online. http://www.modelwarships.com/reviews/ships/bb/bb-03/225-glenco/glnorgon.htm
