that South Dakota had a blue deck . have plans to build up trumps 1/700. haven't found anything on when her deck went blue.did their Warspite with artworx wood deck, which just improves the look immensely over paint. hmmm...., first post in this one

Check this site it lists what ship was in what measure (camouflage scheme) when. Very useful site worth bookmarking for future use.

Well since we're talking 1942 she was in measure 12 mod and then measure 21 and both call for blue decks, so blue decks it is.

On that site find your ship, find the year and click on the measure number it then tells you all you need to know.

For what it's worth the only time a US battleship would have natural wood decks during the war would be during build up and perhaps during initial cruises into Chesapeake Bay. Iowa is the only one for sure that comes to mind.

that's pretty much what I figured, that it's be post '41. just couldn't find much on it, other than the aforementioned site. anyway, deck from bna on it's way, along with Tom's pe off freetime and guns from airconnection
