That deck looks very featureless...no panel lines; no hatches or scuttles, or vents of any kind. Not even bollards or fairleads.

I am pretty sure this is an upgrade set Biggs. It was listed without those words, but I did add them to the header. I have to assume they just left off the resin parts from the kit.

No, its a resin kit with pe parts.
I build their Minesweeper W-1 kit .
A nice kit, but yes some details are missing.
The fairleads where included, but not shown where to add.
Also annoying for me, the small boats, paravanes and flagpoles where missing.
In this kit it seems they add the 7m boats at least.

Thanks Christian! I suppose with scratch building o one of the half dozen reputable companies that make aftermarket parts, one could fill in the blanks quite nicely and easily.

Yes of course. There is nothing from the IJN which isn't available from at least two AM producers.
I just wanted to notice it.
In my case I need to buy some additinal things for a small and fast projects.
But as said it is a nich model and will look great to my Shimushu from Rainbow .
And I'm thinking of getting more kits from Fivestar.
